IV: Again, Asymmetric @ponsdotfamily closed around $155M fdv on 8/28 when I wrote the past part and proceeded to run to nearly $1B over the next 8 days. @RobinhoodCrypto has been under fire the entire time, and as of late, I’ve seen significant grave dancing. Onchain has been fraught with utter despair over the past couple weeks, and we are yet again, seeing countless launchpads release. This has led to an opportunity I thought we might not see again: $PONS being an asymmetric bet. I believe people are under appreciating what has been built, and the position Pons is in: - As @AvgJoesCrypto recently posted, the quality of teams launching on Pons is simply unmatched, purely based on this + the long history of these teams stemming from EVM, I believe we’ll see a continuation of this. - RHC has been written off by many, or at least this is how they project, which I believe will be costly for those folks. RHC is brand new and has the very clear support of RH, Vlad, and team. As evidenced by Hood Summit, etc. RIP to those who bought prior to HS believing @vladtenev was going to ape $10M live on stage into *insert token*. - Any interesting, new launchpad tech can simply be integrated into Pons. Intelligent teams are beginning to realize it’s futile to fight some of the incumbents, so they are building tech which can be integrated (see @Moshdottrade / $BUN & @wdytfun / $wdyt - bullish on both). - @MEADGod and team have handled this entire run with grace and a willingness to work with the community. This is a wildly under appreciated quality. - Pons (and RHC) has been one of the most grassroots operations I’ve seen. This helps them win. See recent implementation of @that1618guy’s data to Pons, as one example. - Aligned incentives have been there and only stand to make the eco better over time. This is all an observation of things where I think we see a continuation. I for one don’t believe RHC is going anywhere, and based on performance to date, believe the @ponsdotfamily will only continue to produce results.
